Lots of birthday wishes for me. I had a lovely day, update to come later!

There is nothing like l'huile Ambre Solaire to set the tone, one sniff of it, even on Christmas Day, would send you right on the beach.
Ah and obviously good music too, something like Chupee by Cocoon is just perfect for this time of the year!

Quand les beaux jours arrivent, ma station météo devient source de distraction constante. Bien sûr elle enregistre les températures maximums et minimums il y a un côté addictif indéniable à regarder les températures évoluer :D à 7.30am il faisait déjà 21°! Midi, 23.8° toujours à l'ombre! (et 26.5 dedans, il est temps d'ouvrir en grand!)
Et qui a dit qu'il pleuvait toujours en Angleterre!

edit: il est maintenant 6h30 et il fait encore 28.5° dehors! et l'émetteur n'est même pas complètement au soleil! et oui j'avais prévenu je suis accroc!

Lots of updates to do (snow, easter, Bristol etc.) but first of all, people seem to get engaged a lot around me at the mo so it needed to be said:

Ahh I miss the time when we were making des petits poissons in class to stick on the back of others *giggles like a little girl*
Here in the UK the tradition requires the joke to be played before midday, passed that time you become the April Fool ('April Fool's Day is past and gone, You're the fool and I am none'), which is a bit silly let's be honest. I mean come on it's only one day in the year and you only get half a day here, just enough time to cut all ur fish. In France, we are big jokers and the poisson d'avril (April's Fish) jokes may last aaaall day. Apparently (a little bit of history here), the term "poisson d'avril" comes from the fact that in April the sun quits the zodiacal sign of the fish.
I can't remember making much pranks as a kid, some, but not a lot because the beauty of April 1st really has always been trying to attach a paper fish to someone's back without, of course, being noticed.

The day started with a clear blue sky and ended in the same way, hard to imagine that we had almost 5cm of snow in the meanwhile!
