Ma's Things

I love Wednesdays because that's the day I teach. I love arriving early in the morning (not loving that much rushing to do my photocopies), I love going down to the pub between my two classes and have a hot chocolate. At 12, when I am done I love going into town because it feels like I deserve a break because I had to get up early and I did something constructive (even though that did not make my thesis any bigger '^ ^), and I love Wednesdays because I get to meet the Englishi in Starbucks for a nice squirty creamy minty hot chocolate and a divine chocolate shortbread cookie. Honest to god, they are the best cookies ever and they are so big and so shortbready and hmm I love them so much!

I always do that when its snow time, I wake up a couple of times a night and still half sleeping, I check outside for snow. Also the first thing I do in the morning.
And this morning it was all white outside, just a thin layer but still! I got to walk IN the snow (or more what was left of it '^ ^) when I went onto campus for my office hour, so that was nice!
I don't need much to keep me happy, just gimme a bit of snow and I'll smile for the rest of the day

Yeah! first snowflakes as I was teaching to my first group this morning round 9.30. It didn't settle, the floor was wet but we got bigger snowflakes in the afternoon.
Hmm hot chocolate..

First day on the other side of the desk, and an A+ to me :)
Late night last night, finishing my handout, to find eventually many typos this morning when I had the first group :p
No stress though, not even a tiny tiny bit of stress! which makes me wonder now that I think about it if I actually realised I was teaching, even when I was standing there.
As a good Gemini, I have a natural talent at spliting myself into two, a little me comes floating over my head, pondering and occasionally judging me but more generally just stating the obvious.
It happens all the time, but not this time. I didnt think about anything, concentration maybe? hmm I am not even sure, because even then I normally hear a little me saying "Ahh you are concentrating! watch out what you are saying" and I know what my other me would have said today. It would have said "O o o :D look! you're teaching :D" (as I said, my other me generally expresses itself in simple ways)
Ah yes, geminis are great multitaskers!

Back to school! From today, I have a lecture at 9 every tuesday, that I need to attend and for which I am doing the follow up on wednesdays.Very exciting
Although of course, it is always these days that you find it hard to get up because your bed is so warm and comfy. Oh and one random thing, but I had a cool dream last night, that I was an intern and this group of bikers came in and I needed to take care of one of them who had eaten something funny but didn't want to say what it was, it turned out to be some kind of seeds and I said ahh you know, we've seen a lot worse than that, hehe. It is when I remember words that I actually pronounced, like seeds, that I realise I dreamt in English again. I think that's almost always the case now when I am here.
Weird, how the mind works..

I love mornings! It's 8.30, the washing up is done, had a look on the internet and I am now sat here drinking a cup of tea. Gonna tidy up the room in a minute and then I'll get to work. 7° outside, it went down to 2 last night.
The tree is on, yeah we love Christmas here!

It is time for calingirl and bisousman to come out of my head and exist on paper.
Quite a few sketches already, i'll keep them posted

Yay so 2007 is here!

I have been promised a good year. It did not start very well so I'm hoping to see a radical change starting.... NOW :D
