Ma's Things

I like having a study buddy.
I found mine about a year ago, although it's only been a couple of months since we are actively study buddying. We work with skype on, me in Colchester her in Exeter
Today sis is my study buddy, Im sat in the kitchen working while she's making lunch :p des "endives au jambon" yum (for once we found some chicoree in tesco, in the organic food section)

they fall asleep right after (i.e. sis)
Early morning, I am working, sis is looking at her New York trip for this summer.
It's raining.
Later she'll go running with the Englishi in her bright green top and I'll go to the library for a bit.

Las Ketchup and the now old tune Asereje are rythming my mornings, some people having some kind of obsession with it. Talking about obsession, another one has to do with poptarts, c'est l'Halloween on veut des bonbons, very funny.. especially when you get an English person to do it, the imitation, because of the accent, is almost perfect :D
Don't have an obsession yet but we are eating Chinese tonight, yum!

Feeling a bit down on the work side, it's good to have some cheering up today
Tidying up, laundry, a bit of work, looking for ideas for a drawing for a new birth card and same eternal questions of a friend over a boy, that was my day, I like fridays..

La neige c'était bien, la pluie ça l'est moins..
Ca fait plusieurs jours qu'il pleut, qu'il bruine qu'il drache.. Le chemin de la fac devient rapidement boueux et messy et à chaque fois c'est le même rituel en rentrant, nettoyer ses chaussures. Ca fait bien longtemps que j'ai opté pour la méthode jupe bottes en temps de pluie parce que des bottes c'est plus rapide a nettoyer qu'un jean! et puis il n'y a rien de plus desagréable que de se retrouver avec de l'eau dans les chaussettes, venue s'y infiltrer après avoir marché par mégarde dans une flaque d'eau. Oui il bruinait seulement tout à l'heure .. alors j'ai cru qu'il était safe d'opter pour le jean et les baskets, wrong idea .. je n'ai pas vu la flaque.. mes chaussettes s'en souviennent et le jean seche encore à l'heure qu'il est ..

I feel the gym from last night in my shoulders and chest, it's weird to undergo pain there but I guess that's what you get when you go heavy on the weights and don't stretch after. I said pain but it's not really it's more a tingly feeling, and I can't be touched or poked there else I start giggling, not that it's ticklish but you know it is the giggle you get when it's an annoying pain and you don't know whether you want to laugh or cry, well... that's the one !

It was likely to happen when you mess around jumping on a bed, eventually the wall is gonna come and play too, heehee it met my knee this time..
I might be a tad overeacting there but yeah a bit of the skin came off and i'm sure i'll get a big bruise!
Meh.. we'll play again tomorrow

It snowed again last night and until this morning. I was out at 8, in my pyjies just to enjoy the nice cracking sound under my feet.
Sweet !
A shame that sleet then ruined everything, in an hour it was all gone :(

Good day today, it went pretty quickly, as most days do I now find!
Got up round 10, went onto campus to watch the liverpool game round one to see that they were actually showing the England Vs Scotland rugby match, but a cheese and ham baguette, a couple of games of pool and on the quizz machine made it up for it.
The day was lovely, very sunny and quite warm, didn't really need a coat. However the evenings are still very cold, it's down to 1.7° as I post this and this morning when I woke up, everything was frosted outside.
A quiet evening tonight, we just ordered chinese food, hmm yeah a Ma craving, and we are still hesitating between watching one hour photo or the pursuit of happyness ..
- edit: we went for one hour photo in the end, very good film, the scenario is refreshing, original even though very dark and Robin Williams is excellent -
