To be done very soon...
Midnight, in Diagon Alley
While muggles are fast asleep, hundreds of us are waiting outside Waterstones for the book to come out, among which many respectful witches and wizards (did no one think of using the Accio livro spell ?!)
A little kid in his Hogwarts uniform is distributing candies from a tiny cauldron, chocolate frogs, earwax or bogey Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans? or maybe just some Honey-Flavoured Toffees, probably safer ...
To reach the shop we have to walk through the Dark Forest,
the walls of the alley leading to Waterstones are covered with these trees and a huge banner is signalling the entrance
Boxes are ripped off at 12,
the whole shop is decorated for the occasion, even the music is playing in the background, while at the entrance a witch is checking that your name is on the list
Hagrid and Snape are at the till, working side by side!
But, quoting some of Dumbledore's famous words, "There is a time for speech-making, and this is not it. Tuck in!"
So to those who bought the livre, bonne lecture!
Enjoy my fellow Harry Potter readers!
"And now Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure." (Albus Dumbledore, in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince)

It's coming...
We are going to get the new book tonight, Waterstones especially opens at 00.00 excepting quite a lot of people to come and get their copies.
I am now entering my completion year, there is even a date for submission, October 2008.
It is nice to have a date, a bracket on the line. Scary though. 15 months does not seem like much at all.
How weird is that, how twisted is time when you do a PhD.
It is hard to believe it is July already, the weather has really been playing us recently, we have had some nice days, some hot days but also some really wintery days and rainy rainy days.
The sales may be on but can you see yourself trying on a bikini when it's raining outside? I'd rather buy a new coat and some boots!
