POooisson d'Aaaavril
Ahh I miss the time when we were making des petits poissons in class to stick on the back of others *giggles like a little girl*
Here in the UK the tradition requires the joke to be played before midday, passed that time you become the April Fool ('April Fool's Day is past and gone, You're the fool and I am none'), which is a bit silly let's be honest. I mean come on it's only one day in the year and you only get half a day here, just enough time to cut all ur fish. In France, we are big jokers and the poisson d'avril (April's Fish) jokes may last aaaall day. Apparently (a little bit of history here), the term "poisson d'avril" comes from the fact that in April the sun quits the zodiacal sign of the fish.
I can't remember making much pranks as a kid, some, but not a lot because the beauty of April 1st really has always been trying to attach a paper fish to someone's back without, of course, being noticed.
Tout un art my friend ... and I don't want to bribe but I was very good at that
Kiss and Tell
Des bisous under the mistletoe et des Happy New Year to all of you
En attendant Noel...
Going to town, to the cinema, nights out, catching up with friends, spending quality time with the family, cooking gingerbread and yule logs and of course some traditional late christmas shopping
I love being home!
Harry Potter et les reliques de la mort
Three months after its release in England, the translation of the last Harry Potter book will be available in France, on Friday, at 00h01. Ahh this brings back good memories ..
Apparently some "nuit magique" or "soupe au potiron" theme nights should be organised. So people, get ready :D
Ahhh there is nothing like a good old strike...

It definitely brings people closer
Ahhh the clouds...
c'est trompeur! would say my mum
Bah oui, im now burned and no englishi to heal me :(
We're all going on a summer holiday..
No more working for a week or two
Off to the beach for a few days, I'll be back relaxed and tanned hopefully :)
Bon voyage!
It's time to go home. A last trip to Champion to get the sacred lemon coke and we're off to the station Gare du Nord to ship me back to the pays des roastbeefs.
Done! ou presque..
Two boules coupées, and two banettes, "bon retour" said la boulangère.
I got some danettes too, but shock shock horror no lemon coke!! just some orange 'salsa' coke sitting next to some 'coca black' on a pretty empty shelf. There were some yesterday so I'm sure I'll find some tomorrow.
Anyhow, there is always another champion or auchan ..
The list..
Almost 9am, time to go to the boulangerie with the 'photocopies' to get the nice bread we ordered (yea yea to make sure I would have some to bring home!): une boule coupée and some baguettes yum yum. Then Champion! for some lemon coke!! highly wanted / needed over there and some danette, a delicacy..
